Game Studio Pahdo Labs Closes $15 Million Series A Funding Round Led by a16z

Game studio Pahdo Labs has closed a $15 million Series A round led by a16z with participation from Pear VC, BoxGroup, Long Journey Ventures, Neo and Global Founders Capital.

Pahdo Labs is focused on creating the anime RPG Halcyon Zero as well as a UGC platform for players to create their own anime-style modules and worlds.

The studio will soon launch Halcyon Zero, an isometric anime fantasy role-playing game and online game creation platform built on the Godot engine, initially on PC, but Pahdo Labs plans to introduce cross-play functionality on platforms such as iOS and Switch.
