10.6T $PEPE in Multisig Transferred to New Wallet, Team Promises Burn

The Pepe team announced that the 10.6 trillion $PEPE left in the multisig has been transferred to a new wallet, 0x9f5E46E4990dee30665b2e803BA134564D1e087F.

A person in charge said, " I have been in negotiation with the owners of some web domains and usernames that I am looking into acquiring for $PEPE, and when I am complete with any of these prospective purchases or donations of $PEPE from the multi-sig, I will burn the remainder of these multi-sig tokens."

On August 24, a series of controversial transactions took place from the $PEPE multisig CEX wallet, as around 16 trillion $PEPE (worth around $15 million at the time) was transferred to OKX, Binance, KuCoin, and Bybit, which caused the price of $PEPE to plummet. Then, the multisig was reduced from a 5/8 signer count to 2/8. In a statement, the Pepe team claimed that those were done by three former team members.
