AI and Blockchains Don't Mix, Says Andre Cronje

Andre Cronje, co-founder of Fantom, expressed his opinions about AI on his Twitter, saying that "AI and blockchains don't mix".

According to Andre Cronje, blockchain is slow (by centralized standards), transparent and secure, while AI is an opaque blackbox with high throughput. "I need to very clearly stress, these two things do not mix." he added, "for now, anyone that jumps on the 'AI' bandwagon is simply doing so for pump & dump reasons. If you see a project all of a sudden 'pivot to AI', it just means they had nothing and are dead in the water."

"Blockchains don't improve AI, and AI doesn't improve blockchain."
