Arkham Denies CIA Connection, CEO Shares His $ARKM Holdings Addresses

Arkham, a platform for blockchain analysis tools, launched an on-chain intelligence exchange called Arkham Intel Exchange this week. This move is heavily criticized by the crypto community, which sees it as an affront to privacy. The exchange's "Intel-to-Earn" model is mocked as "Doxx-to-Earn". Arkham released a statement in response to the criticism, saying that Arkham Intel Exchange is used only for trading on-chain analysis.

Arkham said that Arkham Intel Exchange aims to create a liquid market for on-chain research to help researchers monetize their work.

"The purpose of the on-chain research community is to better understand market activity for trading purposes and to identify scams. Most of this on-chain research is focused on big institutions like exchanges and trading firms. You can't exchange off-chain personal information like addresses or phone numbers on the Intel Exchange. No posts calling for or containing such personal information will be allowed on the exchange." Arkham said.

Because Arkham CEO Miguel Morel followed the CIA's page on LinkedIn, someone suspected that Arkham might have connections with government agencies. Arkham said on this matter, "Arkham is not secretly a government project. We are not affiliated with government agencies. We're a crypto-native team and we care about our community and our industry." In addition, Arkham said it will not sell user data.
