AssangeDAO is Now the Largest JuiceBox DAO Raise in History Exceeding that of ConstitutionDAO

TokenInsight news, According to DAO fundraising site Juicebox, AssangeDAO has raised more than 15,172 ETH, or about $46.9 million, since it started fundraising on Feb. 3. Its fundraising amount has surpassed the previous ConstitutionDAO and become the largest DAO raised by JuiceBox yet. It is reported that Vitalik Buterin, the founder of Ethereum, donated 10 ETH to AssangeDAO yesterday. ConstitutionDAO raised 11,613 ETH, worth about $45 million, for its bid for a copy of the U.S. Constitution, but was ultimately unable to secure it as hoped. It subsequently relinquished ownership of DAO in November 2021. AssangeDAO, named after WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange, aimed to raise ETH in exchange for $JUSTICE governance tokens to bid on a 1/1 NFT produced by digital artist Pak in collaboration with Julian Assange. Proceeds raised from the NFT sale will benefit Julian Assange's defense fund, which will be used to pay for legal fees and a publicity campaign to raise awareness of Julian's extradition case.
