Binance Establishes Regional Hub in Georgia

Binance has announced the opening of a new regional hub in Georgia. The new hub will focus on talent acquisition, blockchain education and the acceleration of crypto adoption in the region. Binance's Georgia team is already 25 strong, but the company hopes to add dozens more jobs by the end of 2023.

Binance has been developing strategic partnerships and initiatives in Georgia over the past few months, including collaborations with local public and private sector organisations, community events, and a charity initiative to support women-focused Web3 education.

The new hub in Georgia represents a significant investment in the region by Binance, with the company hoping to strengthen blockchain education and accelerate the adoption of crypto. Georgia is seen as a particularly innovative country in the region, with huge potential and interest in the development of digital assets.

Binance has already held three community meetups in Georgia, with over 2,000 attendees in total. The company's CEO, Changpeng Zhao (CZ), visited Georgia in November 2022 and met with Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili, as well as the local business and crypto communities.
