Binance.US CEO Left to Take 'Deserved Break', CZ Says

This week, a Binance.US spokesperson confirmed that Brian Shroder, Binance.US's CEO, had left the platform, and CLO Norman Reed replaced him as an interim CEO. Speaking of the matter, Binance CEO CZ said that Shroder has done his job and is "taking a deserved break".

CZ said on X, "There has been some speculation regarding recent management changes at Binance.US. Brian Shroder is taking a deserved break after accomplishing what he set out to do when he joined two years ago. Under his leadership, Binance.US raised capital, improved its product and service offerings, solidified internal processes, and gained significant market share, all of which helped to build a more resilient company for the benefit of customers. We are grateful for his contributions."

As for the new CEO, Norman Reed, CZ said, "The crypto market is in a different place now than it was two years ago, with a rapidly evolving and increasingly hostile regulatory environment. Norman Reed – former SEC, New York Fed, Ripple, and DTCC executive – is the right person to lead Binance.US in this market."

"Ignore FUD. Keep building," CZ added.
