Cross-Chain Project Connext Airdrop Claims Reenabled

Layer2 interoperability protocol Connext tweeted that airdrop claiming has been re-enabled and the process is flowing smoothly. The Connext community, core contributing teams, and the broader ecosystem formed ConnextDAO. Connext's cross-chain tokens, $NEXT, will be used for governance, as well as for activities such as staking.

Connext's $NEXT airdrop is available to claim on Sep. 5. However, an issue was identified by the crypto community, where some users can claim the airdrop multiple times. There are suspicions that it's a bug that allows hackers to steal others' rewards.

In response to the problem, Connext founder Arjun said in Discord that this address is a Sybil bot that used just a single address to claim for 200 addresses. Arjun also clarified that it's not a hack and there is no contract exploit.
