Crypto exchange WonderFi is in merger talks with Coinsquare.

WonderFi said, "We have had preliminary discussions with third parties regarding a potential acquisition and the company being acquired, consistent with past practice and the company's general acquisition strategy. There can be no assurance that any agreement will be reached or that the terms of a transaction will be agreed upon or that a transaction will be completed."

WonderFi and Coinsquare, both crypto exchanges operating in Canada, have seen WonderFi shares rise 29.34% in the past 24 hours following media speculation of a merger.
