Quix, an NFT marketplace on Optimism, announced that the looming shutdown of Quix Marketplace is no longer happening and indicated that a prominent player from the web3 gaming space has a plan to keep the mission and community of Quix alive.
In November 2022, Quix's team announced that they would be closing the NFT marketplace and committed to maintaining operations until February 28, 2023.
With a token grant to retroactively reward its contributions and support ongoing community and platform maintenance through the end of February 2023, the Optimism Foundation has enabled the open sourcing of Quix’s code on behalf of the Optimism Community.
