PayPal Pauses Its Stablecoin Project

PayPal has paused work on its stablecoin project, because its crypto partner Paxos is under investigation by the New York Department of Financial Services, Bloomberg reports.

According to a person with knowledge of the matter, PayPal had wanted to launch its stablecoin offering in the coming weeks.
