StakeWise Launches New Testnet for V3 Called Atlantic

Liquid staking protocol StakeWise announced the launch of Atlantic, a closed testnet for StakeWise V3. On Atlantic, developers will test the core StakeWise V3 architecture and identify bugs and issues before public testing.

StakeWise V3 will use modular architecture, and will allow anyone, including solo stakers, to become a node operator and receive staking delegations from others. Node operators can open their own vaults, and ordinary stakers can choose their preferred operators and stake their $ETH into corresponding vaults to mint liquid staking token $osETH.

Atlantic will provide a controlled environment for StakeWise V3 to be tested, allowing testers to thoroughly stress-test the different novel parts of the protocol. The testnet is only open to the individuals and organisations who have a wealth of experience running blockchain infrastructure and can provide prompt feedback, including Foundry, Finoa Custody, Blockscape and others. Currently, StakeWise is onboarding more participants.

According to StakeWise, the next stage of testing will be open to the public, which can happen in March.
