The Graph Network now supports Arbitrum

The Graph, a decentralized data indexing and query platform, is planning to scale onto Arbitrum. The transition will occur in three phases, with the first phase already completed.

During this initial deployment, the protocol will co-exist on L1 and L2, but the $GRT token smart contract will remain on L1, and $GRT will only be available on Arbitrum through the GRT bridge. Indexing rewards are disabled in this phase.

Phase 2 will see the deployment of GIP-0037, which will enable indexing rewards on Arbitrum, officially marking the end of the experimental phase. This phase will be followed by phase 3, which will see indexing rewards gradually diverted to L2 as network usage increases on Arbitrum. Additionally, curators will migrate their curation signal to Arbitrum, which will include a flattened bonding curve, while curation on Ethereum will remain unchanged.

The migration process will include migration helpers and 1-click migration for all network participants to easily move from Ethereum to Arbitrum. Core developers will work closely with community participants to ensure a smooth protocol migration experience.
