Trust Wallet has introduced a new security feature that utilizes Multi-Party Computation (MPC) technology, in collaboration with Web3Auth. This feature eliminates the need for users to write down a seed phrase, reducing the risk of human error and single point of failure, and enhancing account safety and security.
With this new feature, users can quickly and easily access Trust Wallet services using their existing social media accounts, such as Google, Apple, Telegram, and Discord, which simplifies onboarding for new Web3 users. The feature is currently in beta version, and users have the option to use SMS OTP and email recovery for added security and ease-of-use.
