Web3 Startup Bastion Platform Raised $25M, Led by A16z

Bastion Platform, a Web3 startup co-founded by former executives from Andreessen Horowitz (A16z), has successful raised a funding round of $25 million. Leading the investment is A16z Crypto.

Riyaz Faizullabhoy, a co-founder of Bastion Platform, previously held the position of Chief Technology Officer at A16z, while Nassim Eddequiouaq served as the Chief Security Officer.

The funding round also saw participation from several prominent entities, including Laser Digital Ventures from Nomura Group, Robot Ventures, and the notable crypto influencer Packy McCormick's Not Boring Capital.

Bastion's stated mission is to bring the corporate sector into the realm of blockchain technology. They aim to achieve this by offering a custody wallet solution that adheres to global regulations while meeting the demands of secure digital transaction execution.
